MDBA meeting a success

Following the public meeting in Albury, The Member for Indi, Sophie Mirabella invited Mr. Michael Taylor, Chair of the MDBA to a meeting with locals in North East Victoria
Today in Wangaratta, Mrs. Mirabella chaired a series of meetings with Mike Taylor, irrigators, the VFF and local councils.
Mrs. Mirabella said these meetings were a unique opportunity for frank discussions on issues and problems regarding the MDBA draft.
Mr. Taylor was candid in answering questions and encouraged further local input.
Mrs. Mirabella said,” I know Mike Taylor appreciated the input from locals and encouraged them to provide submissions to :-
· The MDBA,
· The House of Representatives Inquiry and
· Senate Inquiry.
“I would like to thank local Mayors CEO’s VFF representatives & local business people who took the time to meet with the MDBA.”
“I encourage all locals concerned to write submissions to the current 3 inquiries and my office can assist where required”.
