DECLARATION OF VOTING RESULTS

The Australian electoral commission today officially declared that The Incumbent Member for Indi, Mrs. Sophie Mirabella has been returned to the house of Representatives with an increased majority.

Mrs. Mirabella said she was humbled to have been elected for a fourth term, by the people of North East Victoria.

“I will continue to be ferocious in representing our concerns and fighting for the things we need.”

“It is important not to let the minority Labour Government forget us.”

It is not a good sign that the Rural Health portfolio has been axed and the new Minister for Regional Australia and Regional Development lives in inner city Melbourne.


Mrs. Mirabella thanked the people of Indi, her staff, volunteers and their families for all their support and assistance over the last parliamentary term.
