DUMPED INSULATION SCHEME BETRAYS TRUST YET AGAIN

Federal Member for Indi, Sophie Mirabella, has hit out at the Rudd Labor Government’s deception of insulation businesses today.
“This insulation scheme was put forward, pulled away, put back and pulled away again,” Mrs Mirabella said.
“Now the minister charged with cleaning up the Garrett insulation mess, Greg Combet, has suddenly come out and said that the insulation scheme would be dumped completely.
“No one can deny it has to be the most botched public program in the history of Australia, and they have proven that, by even botching the dumping of the scheme leaving hundreds of genuine business in the lurch, while shonks and fraudsters move onto the next scam.
“People who have tried to build a reputable business have been pushed and pulled so many times by this inept government and have built their business plans around the re-introduction of the insulation scheme.
“The betrayal of people’s trust is becoming a hallmark of the Labor government.”
